Scheduling & Appointments
Appointment Scheduling
Appointments must be scheduled in advance through the approved booking system or directly with Laura. Same-day appointments are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
Appointments are reserved specifically for you. Please schedule carefully, as availability for last-minute or back-to-back appointments may be limited.
Requests for session length, focus areas, or modalities should be made at the time of booking. Changes requested at the appointment time may not be possible.
Laura Briggs Therapeutic Massage & Wellness, llc reserves the right to modify, decline, or reschedule appointments if the requested service is outside the scope of practice or not appropriate based on health history or current presentation.
New Client Intake & Health History Policy
All new clients must complete an intake form and health history prior to their first appointment. This information helps ensure sessions are safe, appropriate, and tailored to individual needs.
Intake forms must be completed before the scheduled session time. Incomplete or missing information may result in the session being modified, shortened, or rescheduled.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and current health information and for updating Laura of any changes before each session. Laura reserves the right to modify or decline a session if health information indicates massage is not appropriate.
All client health information is kept confidential.
Session length reflects the time reserved for your appointment and includes any necessary check-in or transition time. Please arrive on time to receive the full benefit of your session.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid impacting subsequent appointments. Sessions will end at the originally scheduled time, and full session fees apply regardless of arrival time.
Clients are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early. If you anticipate being late, please notify Laura as soon as possible. Repeated late arrivals may require rescheduling or may result in loss of booking privileges.
Session Length, Arrival Time & Late Arrival Policy
Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellation Notice Requirement
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Notice must be provided through the scheduling system or by directly contacting Laura. Messages left outside of business hours are time-stamped accordingly.
Late Cancellation Policy
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered late cancellations and will be charged a $50 fee.
The late cancellation fee will be charged to the card on file. If no card is on file, the fee must be paid before another appointment may be scheduled.
Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without notice is considered a no-show. Arriving more than 15 minutes late or contacting the office more than 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time is considered a no call/no show, and the appointment will be marked as such.
No-show appointments are subject to a $50 fee. This fee will be charged to the card on file. If no card is on file, the fee must be paid before another appointment may be scheduled.
No-Show Policy
Same-Day Changes Policy
Requests to change an appointment on the same day are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
Same-day changes may be treated as a late cancellation and subject to the $50 late cancellation fee if the original appointment time cannot be filled.
Same-day changes must be communicated directly with Laura and cannot be assumed until confirmed.

If you are unwell or develop symptoms close to your appointment, please notify Laura as soon as possible. Sessions may be modified, rescheduled, or declined if illness or symptoms are present. If Laura determines that a session should be rescheduled or canceled due to illness or health concerns, no cancellation or no-show fees will be charged.
Repeated cancellations due to illness may require modified scheduling, prepayment, or other arrangements to continue care.
