Therapeutic Sessions

When pain, stiffness, or changes in movement begin to interfere with daily life, relaxation alone is often not enough. My work is focused on therapeutic care for people managing chronic pain, recurring injuries, general stiffness, or changes in how their body moves and responds. Sessions are intentional and paced to allow the body to soften and respond without forcing change. The goal is to improve comfort and movement in a way that supports lasting progress over time.

Functional Therapeutic Massage

Each session is shaped by how your body is moving on that day, where you’re noticing pain, stiffness, or restriction, and what matters most to you in daily life. There is no preset routine. The work adapts to what your body is showing and what it needs to move with more ease.

This approach is often helpful for people dealing with chronic pain, repetitive strain, injury recovery, general stiffness, or ongoing mobility limitations. Sessions are paced and intentional, with attention given to areas and patterns that contribute to discomfort or reduced function.

Depending on your needs, sessions may focus on specific areas or include full-body work. When there are clear areas of pain or limitation, more time may be spent working thoughtfully and thoroughly in those regions. For clients who prefer full-body sessions, scheduling 75 minutes or longer allows enough time to work comprehensively while still addressing areas that need additional attention.

The goal is to help your body work better between sessions, not just feel temporarily improved. This style of care is well suited for those who value individualized attention and want changes that carry into daily movement, activity, and long-term comfort.

Who This Is For

This work is well suited for people who:

  • Live with ongoing or recurring pain

  • Feel stiff, restricted, or limited in how they move

  • Are recovering from injury or dealing with repetitive strain

  • Notice discomfort tied to work, daily activities, or posture

  • Want care that feels purposeful and thoughtful, not generic

  • Value an individualized approach rather than a set routine

Many clients come in after trying other things and still feeling like certain areas never fully improve. Others are simply looking to better understand how their body is contributing to discomfort and movement challenges.

This work meets you where you are and adapts to what your body needs now.

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy is a light-touch form of bodywork that works with restrictions in and around the central nervous system. Sessions are done fully clothed and use gentle, attentive contact, most often at the head, neck, and base of the spine.

Rather than working directly into muscles, this approach focuses on how the nervous system and surrounding connective tissues influence comfort, movement, and overall function. By easing restrictions and supporting regulation, the work can create space for the body to adapt and recover more efficiently.

This type of work is often helpful for people living with chronic pain, headaches or migraines, nervous system overwhelm, lingering effects of injury, jaw or neck tension, or for those who do not tolerate deeper work well. Sessions are quiet and responsive, guided by how your body presents on the day of your visit.

Some clients notice changes right away, while for others the shifts are more gradual. CranioSacral Therapy may be experienced on its own or integrated into a session to support ongoing comfort, resilience, and balance.

Who This Is For

CranioSacral Therapy can be a good fit for people who:

  • Live with ongoing or persistent pain

  • Experience headaches or migraines

  • Feel overwhelmed, wired, or have difficulty fully relaxing

  • Are recovering from injury, surgery, or concussion

  • Carry tension in the neck, jaw, or head

  • Do not tolerate deeper bodywork well

  • Notice symptoms tend to worsen during periods of stress

This work can be especially helpful when the body feels stuck in a guarded or protective state, or when other approaches haven’t quite helped things settle.

CranioSacral Therapy may be experienced on its own or integrated into a broader plan of care, depending on what your body needs and how it responds.

Initial or Introduction Session
Up to 75 minutes

The first session allows time to talk through your concerns, observe how your body responds, and let the work unfold without rushing. This longer session helps establish a baseline and creates a foundation for future care.

This option is recommended for anyone new to CranioSacral Therapy or returning after a longer break.

Support Sessions

Support sessions are designed for ongoing CranioSacral care once that initial foundation has been established. These sessions focus on reinforcing progress and responding to what your body is showing in the present moment.

Because less time is typically needed once the work is familiar, these sessions are shorter while still allowing meaningful care.

Free Consultation

This brief 15-minute consultation offers space to ask questions, talk through what’s been going on with your body, and get a sense of whether my approach feels like a good fit for your needs. We’ll discuss your concerns, what you’ve tried so far, and what you’re hoping to improve, and I’ll share how I typically work and what a therapeutic session might look like based on what you describe. This is an informational conversation only, with no hands-on work involved. Some people schedule a consultation because they’re unsure where to start, while others want to make sure the pace, depth, or focus of the work aligns with what their body needs right now. Both are welcome. There’s no obligation to book afterward. The goal is simply to provide clarity, answer questions, and help you decide whether working together feels like the right next step.
